Maryfel Mendoza, our CEO, brings a wealth of international experience and a strong educational background to the helm of IM Digital Factory. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, she has studies in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. Maryfel furthered her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the Université de Lille in France.

Maryfel’s professional journey has seen her living in various countries, including Austria and France. During her time in Austria, she immersed herself in the German language, while in France, she pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Administration in the city of Lille. Her experiences abroad, combined with her extensive travel to over 30 countries, have given her a unique global perspective and a deep understanding of diverse cultures.

Her passion for travel and cross-cultural interactions has naturally led her to a career in international marketing and business. Maryfel primarily resides in Colombia but frequently travels between Colombia and the United States to drive business development and foster international relationships.

Maryfel’s professional journey began in 2010 when she ventured into the export of Colombian products to the North American market. This initial foray marked her entry into the U.S. market and provided valuable insights into American business culture. In 2015, she took her next career step by joining a marketing agency in the United States.

In 2019, while still working with the marketing agency, Maryfel embarked on a new project that allowed her to combine her three key strengths: her experience in international markets, her knowledge of export products, and her expertise in digital marketing. This venture gave rise to an e-commerce platform that facilitated the sale of products from various countries in the American market. The platform’s core value lay in marketing purpose-driven products to socially conscious consumers.
